Purchasing Choices in 2021

No matter where you are on your journey to safer and more sustainable products, living and companies to support, my aim is to give you the information you are looking for. Whether you have just recently switched to one safer product or whether you have been on your clean living journey for years, growth is good and change is inevitable. And the great news is that more and more consumers and more and more companies are going for green, clean, safer and more sustainable products and policies. Plus, more laws are being passed to protect everyone's health. And if you are reading this today and you do not know WHAT IN THE WORLD I am talking about, please use me and my website as a resource. My website has general information on each title page as well as many blogs with more information. You can use the search bar at the top to look up a topic or product. If you need more specific help, please schedule a consultation with me. Here are 2 more great resources - one for all of you visual learners and one for those that like to read a book! Neither are super recent but both are super relevant. And you know I have to add my 2 cents to the Today Show clip linked to visual learners. Please note that the Think Dirty app is no longer a valid option in my opinion because it was bought out by Proctor and Gamble. Use the Environmental Working Group's app Healthy Living instead. The Rahua shampoo that is in the clip is a great company for haircare as is Ursa Major for clean deodorant. Now Beautycounter's clean deodorant is my number 1 recommendation because of the ingredients, the PERFORMANCE, and the refillable container. Not Just A Pretty Face: The Ugly Side of the Beauty Industry by Stacy Malkan is a quick read with startling real world examples.

How many purchases have you made since January 1? Why not choose a safer product or a company that is working toward sustainable policies or more environmentally-friendly policies? I just got a new iPhone, and I needed a cover since I seem to drop things a lot these days! I can't wait for my new cover from Pela to arrive. Buy one get one free, free shipping worldwide on orders $20+, a certified B corp (what's a B corp?), and this mission: Our mission to make sustainable, eco-friendly products the new normal starts with a product that you hold everyday. Phone cases help to protect your investment (phones are expensive!) but they shouldn't be just another plastic product made with materials that could carry toxins into your home. Our cases are tested to be free of BPA, lead, cadmium and phthalates. If we can make products at a higher standard to keep our family and planet safe, shouldn't we? Check out all my recommendations on this website and and check out Beautycounter's Clean Guide for clean and bright purchasing choices to carry you through 2021!
