Get Your Feelings Out

Learn to ask for help.  Many of us are programmed to just keep going until we can't go anymore.  Learn to take a minute and reach out to those you trust.  My girlfriends know who I am talking about.  Sometimes I just need to talk something through or out loud and get it off my chest and out of my inner space.  If you don't feel you have someone to talk to, write it down.  Journal what you need to say.  Just getting the feeling or the 'overwhelmingness' out of you and somewhere else is a huge start to helping yourself.  And in more serious cases, reach out to a professional.  Whether you need one visit with a therapist or 6 months or more, ask for help.  And if you don't know how to start, contact me anytime.
