Not only is my skin and hair dry because of hormones !!!!!, but now it's winter too. The season of dry, flaky kin and dry, frizzy hair.
I have got some help for you!!!! (and for your gift list - who doesn't love a luxurious product?)
I have to thank the fabulous Ky Washington of The Modern Green Goddess for the hair serum recommendation. This hair oil has surpassed what I expected, and my hair stylist said my hair was feeling healthy too!
Check out Nuele Hair Serum. Neule is a Swahili expression that means "your hair is vibrant, gorgeous, & powerful" so THERE YOU GO!
Nuele was founded by two women scientists wanting greatly to have healthy, glowing, well-nourished, manageable hair. They say, "Our product development process is driven by intention and purpose. It took over 4 years of perfecting and trialing on various hair types to make an effective hair serum that works for everyone."
Just a few drops of this oil each day on my hair - wet or dry - gives me great smoothing, frizz- taming results. In other words, the bottle will last FOREVER.
And check out the beautiful Ky as one of the models on the Nuele website under Select your hair type: Protected. She is a beautiful spirit, and I can't wait for the day when she can come to my house for an in person makeup class for you locals!
Now for ALL things dry SKIN, I have so many loves with Beautycounter products. (Why Beautycounter? Click here.)
For facial care, the Countertime line is the line to use for every day use - period. For occasional moisturizing face masks, spread the Cleansing Balm in a thin layer, leave on for 10 to 20 minutes and then remove with a warm wet washcloth. For in-a-pinch dry-patch help on the face, use one of the Face Oils.
For dry skin on your body, check out the Body Butter, Adaptive Body Lotion, Lemongrass Sugar Scrub (smells soooooo good!) and the Melting Body Balm which turns from balm to body oil and smells like the BEACH!
And if you are thinking of gifting some dry skin help but don't know the person's lotion type or smell preference, give a gift certificate and I can help them choose!
