Clean and Bright Self Care

As a woman over 50, I have struggled with menopause. The symptoms are many and varied and have definitely interrupted my daily life.

Along with clean eating and safer products, self care in many forms is needed. For me, self care comes in these forms: meditation, exercise, girlfriend time, family time, time with my husband Brian, 2 minutes of a hot washcloth on my face, an extra minute in a steaming shower, reading a book and the list goes on.

In January of this year, I was on a plane by myself and read Elizabeth Gilbert's Big Magic: Creative Living Beyond Fear. By page 9, I was super hooked: "...when I refer to 'creative living' ...I'm talking about living a life that is driven more strongly by curiosity than by fear." Ms. Gilbert goes on to give an example of a friend who took up figure skating again in her 40s. "...because skating is still the best way for her to unfold a certain beauty and transcendence within her life that she cannot seem to access in any other manner. And she would like to spend as much time as possible in such a state of transcendence while she is still here on earth." (pages 9 - 12)

Lately, my magic and transcendence comes along with helping you switch to safer and cleaner options for you and your family. It brings me such joy! What a blessing my Beautycounter clients and community have been for me in 2020 and now.

The truth is that there are a lot of options for switching to safer products and living healthier. These days we are all busy, and I am happy to do the work for you in this area of your life so that you too can spend your time in your magic.
